The University of Buffalo is seeking information from vendors regarding a Due Diligence Spender Platform to support its Office of Prospect Research within the Division of University Advancement. The primary goal is to explore available service level options and royalty programs that can facilitate comprehensive screening of individuals, corporations, and charitable foundations to mitigate reputational risks associated with accepting gifts or grants. The platform should enable customizable screening parameters, including source and location filters, and provide results in editable export formats. It must support bulk and individual searches, encompassing negative information from diverse sources such as newspapers, criminal filings, sanctions lists, SEC violations, litigation, and financial data, with the ability to view original source material. Additionally, the platform should allow for monitoring specific entities to receive alerts on new negative information. The RFI emphasizes understanding vendor capabilities, deployment models, best practices, pricing, future technological directions, and equipment requirements. The deadline for responses is June 3, 2024, with the project location at North Campus in New York. The solicitation is managed by SUNY, with Nina Anders serving as the primary contact. This initiative aims to inform potential procurement strategies and ensure the platform aligns with the university’s risk mitigation and due diligence needs.
