Request for Information - Data Set of Drug Indications

This is a Request for Information (RFI) for the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) is to gain knowledge about a dataset. This is not a request for proposal and does not commit the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or pay any costs associated with responding to this notice. All responses shall remain with the Government and will not be returned. Purpose: The purpose of this RFI is to obtain information about a comprehensive data set of drug indications, including orphan indications and common off-label uses, linked to ICD-10 codes. Questions: Is there an existing available data set that includes ALL of the items below: Includes both FDA approved indications and common off-label indications. Clearly specifies the system used to code indications. Identifies whether the indication was designated as an orphan indication or otherwise. Includes when the orphan indication was approved and, if relevant, withdrawn. Defines drugs in terms of the moiety, dosage form, and strength. Can be easily linked to other data sources for drugs through, for example, national drug code, generic drug name, or generic product indicator. Updated at least annually If so, please send information and characteristics on the data set. Disclaimer and Important Notes: Please note that this is a Request for Information (RFI) only.
