Request for Information for Development and Integration of Armored System Solutions

The United States Secret Service is issuing Request for Information 70US0927R70090001 to conduct market research and identify industry partners capable of designing, modifying, and integrating armor systems for commercial off-the-shelf and non-military specialty vehicles, specifically those similar to sport utility vehicles. The agency is seeking vendors who can provide armor materials, develop solutions from concept to sample stage for government validation, and provide comprehensive fabrication and installation documentation. All validation testing must adhere to DOD Mil-Specs, ASTM, UL, and NIJ standards. Upon completion of any future contract, the government requires full transfer of usage rights for all developed armor systems and procedures.
