REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) FOR THE FUTURE PROCUREMENT PROCESS FOR THE NG 911 MIGRATION INITIATIVE. REQUIREMENTS: This Request for Information (RFI) is the first phase of a procurement process by Shared Services Canada (SSC) for NG9-1-1 Migration to a multi-tenant Call Handling Solution (MT-CHS), turnkey and fully managed solution (the “Project”). Suppliers are invited to submit responses to assist Canada in refining its requirements for the Project. Suppliers are not required to submit a response to this RFI in order to participate in any later phases of the procurement process for the Project. For more information on the requirements, please refer to the RFI document. RFI POSTING DATE December 23, 2024 at 10:00AM Eastern Standard Time (EST) NATURE OF A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION This is not a bid solicitation. This RFI will not result in the award of any contract. As a result, potential Suppliers of any goods or services described in this RFI should not reserve stock or facilities, nor allocate resources, as a result of any information contained in this RFI. Nor will this RFI result in the creation of any source list. Therefore, whether or not any potential Supplier responds to this RFI will not preclude that Supplier from participating in any future procurement. This RFI is simply intended to notify the industry and solicit feedback from industry with respect to the matters described in this RFI. NATURE AND FORMAT OF RESPONSES REQUESTED Respondents are requested to provide their comments, concerns and, where applicable, alternative recommendations regarding how the requirements or objectives described in this RFI could be satisfied. Respondents are also invited to provide comments regarding the content, format, and/or organization of any draft documents included in this RFI. Respondents should explain any assumptions they make in their responses. RFI RESPONSE SUBMISSIONS: In order to submit a response to this RFI, Bidders must follow the instructions in the RFI which would be accessible as detailed below.
