Solicitation details, issuing organization, response deadlines, documents, and interested companies for this government contract opportunity.
AI Contract Overview
The Department of Defense is seeking industry input through a Request for Information (RFI) to identify potential sources capable of repairing the AFCS Integrated Panel and CNP Integrated Panel, designated by specific National Stock Numbers and Part Numbers. Currently, Ducommun Labarge Technologies, the original manufacturer and sole current repair contractor, performs these repairs under the existing contract FA8538-22-D-0004. Due to the proprietary nature of the repair data and technical expertise, which the government does not own and finds uneconomical to obtain, no repair samples are available for evaluation by prospective suppliers. The contractor must provide all materials, support equipment, tools, testing devices, and services required to complete repairs, ensuring replacement parts meet or exceed original quality standards. Equipment maintenance and calibration responsibilities also fall under the contractor’s scope. This solicitation serves primarily as an information-gathering and planning tool without guaranteeing future contract awards or reimbursement of any costs for participation. Respondents are informed that submitting information does not constitute a proposal and will not commit the government to award a contract. The market research aims to support budgetary forecasting and strategic planning related to the maintenance of these integrated panels, performed at Warner Robins, Georgia, with point-of-contact personnel listed for inquiries. The effort is classified under NAICS code 811210 and is managed by the FA8538 office.
