SUBJECT: Market research is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for qualification and production of the Multipurpose Display (MPD) Control Panel Assembly, Part Number PC82040-4, NSN 1290-01-395-2696FX. ITEM DESCRIPTION: The Control Panel is installed on the F-15E MPD; the MPD is considered the Next Higher Assembly (NHA). There are four MPDs installed in each aircraft. The Control Panel must meet power, function, and physical requirements in accordance with Kaiser Electronics (now Rockwell Collins) Drawing PC82040 and applicable USAF technical orders. The F-15E is currently used by ACC, USAFE, and AFMC. Impediment to Competition: The Control Panel has been purchased from Symbolic Displays Inc., Transicoil LLC, and Rockwell Collins historically. The Government does not own any data, drawings, schematics, or any other releasable technical data in support of this requirement.
