Request for Proposal - Accessibility Software Evaluation Services

DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENTThe purpose of this requirement is to have an accessibility evaluation of the various software products and services available on the Data Analytics as a Service (DAaaS) cloud platform in order for Statistics Canada to determine its compliance. The compliance will govern whether the tools can be released into the public domain.The Contractor’s resources are required to have expert knowledge on accessibility techniques and evaluation tools, knowledge of WCAG 2.1 (Level A and AA) compliance to ensure inter-operability and usability with assistive technologies by persons with disabilities.QUALIFICATIONAny interested bidder can compete, without having to confirm with the Contracting Authority, unless it would not be consistent with the business requirements of efficient operations.EVALUATION PROCESS AND SELECTION METHODOLOGYHighest Rated Responsive Proposal Within a Stipulated Maximum BudgetSECURITY REQUIREMENTSContractor: secret (FSC, upon contract award)Personnel: secret (upon contract award)LOCATION OF WORK AND TRAVELThe work will be completed remotely in the Contractor’s place of business and the work is delivered to Statistics Canada via accessible email. No travel is required.DURATION OF CONTRACTIt is intended to result in the award of one (1) contract with a contract period from contract award to October 31, 2023, plus two (2) one-year irrevocable option allowing Canada to extend the term of the contract.BUDGETThe budget of this solicitation limits to $180,000.00 (including initial period and two option periods), applicable taxes are extra.
