The City of Cape Coral is in the process of modifying canal facilities to optimize Cape Coral Canal levels. This includes the installation of a new control structure (Weir #7) on Courtney Canal. The existing drainage facilities at this location include two (2) approximately 60"-inch pipe crossings that have been identified as partially blocked, in poor condition, and in need of rehabilitation. The scope includes but is not limited to modeling, surveying, geotechnical investigation, engineering, design, plans preparation, permitting, bidding assistance services for the proposed project. The consultant will review and adopt the existing 100% signed and sealed plan set. This project was awarded a grant for design services for Weir 7. Assistance with Grant services and Grant Administration for construction will be required from the chosen Consultant. Activities shall be completed in strict compliance with Federal, State and Local applicable Rules and Regulations and any additional grant conditions or requirements.
