Scope: 1. Overview The City of Clovis requests proposals from qualified vendors for a single phase UPS System for the Public Safety Headquarters Radio Tower. The system must provide uninterrupted power within set tolerances during normal supply failures or issues.
Qualified vendors are businesses capable of providing the UPS SYSTEM within a reasonable timeframe once they receive a proposal acceptance letter from the City of Clovis.
2. Scope of Work The main purpose of this Scope of Work is to capture the nature and scope of the Project, rather than to be precise in all its details. The work to be done consists, in general, of removing the existing UPS system, its components and related equipment from the Radio Tower building and installing the proposed Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) System, batteries and other items. All related electrical work, conduits, wiring, circuit breakers and modifications to the existing equipment required to perform the work properly, for a complete and turnkey system shall be included in the proposal.
