REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS - CITYWIDE SIDEWALK INVENTORY 2026

The City of Bainbridge, Georgia, is seeking qualified proposals to conduct a comprehensive citywide inventory and assessment of existing sidewalk and pedestrian infrastructure for the year 2026. The scope of work includes detailed documentation of current conditions, a full ADA accessibility audit to identify barriers and compliance gaps, and a thorough gap analysis to determine deficiencies in connectivity across the pedestrian network. The contractor will perform a connectivity analysis to evaluate how well sidewalks link key destinations and prioritize areas needing intervention based on safety, usage, and equity considerations. A prioritization and implementation strategy will be developed to guide future investments and improvements, ensuring alignment with accessibility standards and community needs. The project culminates in a final report and presentation summarizing findings, recommendations, and actionable next steps for city planners and stakeholders. The request is open to vendors with demonstrated experience in urban infrastructure assessment, accessibility auditing, and transportation planning.
