AI Contract Overview
The Town of Palm Beach is soliciting qualifications from experienced painting contractors to provide a range of interior and exterior coating services across various municipal facilities and properties. Services required include painting, staining, wood refinishing, metal coatings, flooring coatings (paint and epoxy), masonry, concrete and fiberglass coatings, electrostatic painting, and pressure cleaning of surfaces prior to coating application. Contractors must supply all necessary materials, equipment, labor, supervision, and support to complete these projects on an as-needed basis. The Town intends to pre-qualify multiple firms, who will then be invited to submit bids for specific scopes of work as they arise. Awards will be granted based on the lowest price or most advantageous bid relating to qualifications and price. The contract term is initially one year, with the possibility of four additional one-year extensions contingent on performance, budget approval, and mutual agreement, allowing for a maximum duration of five years. A non-mandatory virtual pre-proposal conference will be conducted to allow potential bidders the opportunity to ask questions and obtain clarifications. The Town reserves sole discretion over proposal awards and may reject any or all submissions or reissue the solicitation if deemed necessary. Communications are strictly controlled under a Cone of Silence, with inquiries directed only through designated procurement contacts. Vendors are assured that no social, political, or ideological criteria will be considered in determining responsibility. Submission deadline and all relevant participation details are outlined in the solicitation documents.
