REQUEST FOR QUOTE - HVAC Replacement at Coastal Center

The South Carolina Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities is soliciting quotes for the replacement of one HVAC unit serving the Warehouse and Housekeeping areas at the Office of Intellectual Developmental Disabilities Coastal Center Campus in Summerville, South Carolina. The selected vendor must provide either a 5 Ton 14.3 Seer 3-phase heat pump or a 5 Ton 15 Seer 2 ducted split-heat pump. The scope of work includes the removal and disposal of the existing unit, site cleanup, and the full installation of the new system, including a new composite unit pad, emergency drain pans, and primary and pan drain safety switches. All installation tasks must include re-insulating, pressure testing, and evacuating refrigerant lines, with final testing conducted alongside onsite maintenance to ensure full heating and cooling functionality before the vendor leaves the property. The contract requires a minimum one-year labor warranty and a ten-year manufacturer parts warranty. All work must be completed within 30 days of the award. The award will be granted to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
