Specifically, the Direct Investment Division must be able to efficiently identify when foreign direct investment relationships are created, modified, or dissolved. For the purposes of this contract, a foreign direct investment relationship is when an entity in one country owns at least 10% of the voting interest, or equivalent, in a business entity in another country. This 10% ownership can be direct or indirect, via the owning entity�s subsidiaries.
