Human feces is included in the City Ordinance 9-10-1-3 definition of “infectious waste”: solid waste that carries a probably risk of transmitting disease to humans, including but not limited to: human pathological wastes, human and body fluid wastes including blood and components, body fluids, and biological wastes. The City is looking for a vendor to collect, clean and dispose of infectious Waste and associated waste including any items that are soiled, containers of waste such as bottles of urine, and sharps (needles).
