TITLE
Request for Standing Offer General Contractor - 772A, Amicale Avenue, Havre St-Pierre
SERVICE DELIVERY POINTS
Upon request, carry out construction, renovation and maintenance work in Government of Canada building and property located at 772A, Amicale Avenue, Havre St-Pierre.
WORK DESCRIPTION
Provide, on a call-up basis, specialized labour, materials and equipment to perform maintenance and construction work. The General Contractor must be capable of handling all aspects of the following items:
.1 Estimates; .2 Preparation; .3 Demolition; .4 Grading; .5 Foundation drainage; .6 Concrete work; .7 Masonry work ; .8 Metal and ornamental metal work; .9 Wood and plastic work; .10 Waterproofing; .11 Insulation; .12 Roofing (shingle, tile and membrane); .13 Interior finishes; .14 Building mechanical systems ; .15 Electricity; .16 Ventilation ; .17 Plumbing
Work in co-operation with other contractors specializing in various disciplines.
The Contractor must carry out the work in a manner that causes the least possible disruption to building occupants and the public and the normal use of the building and its operations.
IMPORTANT NOTICE TO BIDDERS REGARDING BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
In order to respond to this Request for Standing Offer, offerors must submit their offers electronically using the Canada Post Corporation (CPC) Connect service or by facsimile. Please refer to GI05 (2014-03-01) SUBMISSION OF OFFER in the Request for Standing Offer for more information.
Offers in hard copy (delivered in person or by mail or courier) will not be accepted in this Request for Standing Offer.
SITE VISIT
There will be no site visit. It’s the bidders’ responsibility to obtain all the information relating to the conditions that may affect the performance of the work.
PERIOD OF THE STANDING OFFER
The period for placing call-ups against the Standing Offer shall be from :
From Award to October 31, 2024 - Firm Period, (Years 1 and 2); From November 1st, 2024 to June 30th,2025 - Optional period 1, (Year 3). From November 1st, 2025 to June 30th,2026 - Optional period 2, (Year 4). From November 1st, 2026 to June 30th,2027 - Optional period 3, (Year 5).
