The Department of Transport Canada has a requirement for two (2) Physicians to perform tasksincluding the assessment of seafarer fitness for work on board a vessel, development of medicalstandards, education, and training for Marine Medical Examiners (MMEs). The contract period isfor one (1) year with two (2) option years to be exercise by the contracting authority under thesame terms and conditions. The services are required to be delivered on-site in Ottawa. Workingremotely may be accommodated for a qualified incumbent that is out of province.Transport Canada may award up to two (2) contracts, one (1) for each resource.
