Request for Written Quotes - First Parish Clock

The Town of Berlin, Massachusetts, is seeking written quotations for the rehabilitation of the First Parish Town Clock located in the church steeple. The project scope includes the careful removal and preservation of the historic mechanical clock movement for future display, the rehabilitation of three exterior clock faces including their numerals and hands, and the installation of a new clock system and bell strike actuator. The new equipment must be based on Electric Time specifications or an approved equivalent that meets the same functional and durability standards. The contractor is responsible for all labor, materials, rigging, and commissioning to ensure the system is in reliable operation, while also providing necessary safety measures and fall protection.
