AI Contract Overview
Solicitation SPE2DH-27-T-0219 is a fixed-price contract issued by the Department of Defense, specifically the DLA Troop Support Medical Supply Chain FSH, for the procurement of four patient rescue and transport systems under NSN 6530-01-575-4004. The required equipment is a basic rescue system featuring Cobra buckles for horizontal hoisting, weighing 19 lbs, constructed from low-density E-Z glide polyethylene plastic in O.D. green, and supplied in a Cordura pack. The items are to be delivered FOB Destination to the Commanding Officer at Station SAR Lemoore in California, with a required delivery timeline of 20 days after award and an original required delivery date of October 21, 2026. The contract mandates strict adherence to packaging and marking standards, requiring compliance with ASTM D3951 and RP001 for palletization, while marking must follow Medical Marking Standard No. 1, which supersedes MIL-STD-129 for medical acquisitions. Inspection and acceptance will occur at the destination. The procurement is governed by various FAR and DFARS clauses, including the Buy American and Balance of Payments Program and requirements for safeguarding covered defense information. All quotes must be submitted via the DLA Internet Bid Board System by October 26, 2026, and electronic invoicing must be processed through the Wide Area Workflow system.
