AI Contract Overview
The Rescue Wrap is a specialized medical trauma recovery system designed for use by special operations medical teams, air rescue units, and national park aid stations. It features a synthetic or down-filled core with top and bottom shells made of XALT all-weather laminate material that is fluid-proof, wind-proof, and breathable, ensuring protection in extreme conditions. It is available exclusively in black and is packaged as a single unit. All packaging must comply with commercial standards and meet the Medical Marking Standard No. 1, which supersedes MIL-STD-129, with copies obtainable from DLA Troop Support. The exterior shipping containers must ensure safe, cost-effective delivery by common carriers to the specified delivery point, particularly when exporting. The contract, identified by solicitation number SPE2DS-26-T-285F, requires adherence to the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, referenced by R or I numbers, with the applicable revision determined by the solicitation or award date depending on acquisition size.
