AI Contract Overview
The contract solicitation SPRTA1-26-Q-0329, titled "Reservoir, Hydraulic," is issued by the Department of Defense through the Ok DLA Aviation office at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma. The procurement is below the simplified acquisition threshold, which has led to a waiver of the typical synopsis requirement under FAR 5.101(b)(i)(B). The solicitation allows electronic access to the full request for proposal package via the Governmentwide Point of Entry (GPE), and responses from offerors can be submitted electronically, specifically through email, which satisfies the requirements for electronic commerce as defined by federal regulations. This streamlined process eliminates the need for public synopsis publication because the solicitation amount is expected not to exceed the simplified acquisition threshold and the public is given full electronic access to engage. The solicitation was posted on June 4, 2026, with a submission deadline of July 6, 2026. There is no set-aside designation for this combined-type procurement, and the applicable NAICS code is 336413. The primary point of contact for this acquisition is Micah Miller, who can be reached via the provided email address. The place of performance details remain unspecified.

MEMORANDUM FOR FILE
SUBJECT: Synopsis Waiver
Exception is taken to this requirement solicitation SPRTA1-26-Q-0329 for PR 27-00004 of the synopsis publicizing IAW with FAR 5.101(b)(i)(B), exception:
(i) Is for an amount not expected to exceed the simplified acquisition threshold.
(ii) Will be made through a means that provides access to the notice of proposed contract action through the GPE.
(iii) Permits the public to respond to the solicitation electronically.
Electronic commerce is defined at 41 USC sec. 426 as electronic techniques for accomplishing business transactions, including electronic mail. Thus, provided the complete solicitation package is available through the GPE and offerors are permitted to respond electronically (i.e., email in this case), the proposed contract action would not need to be synopsized.
Therefore, synopsis is hereby waived as this acquisition is not expected to exceed the simplified acquisition threshold, request for proposal will be made through Contract Opportunities and the offerors will be able to respond electronically.
