The Buffalo Pound Water Treatment Corporation (BPWTC) is requesting quotations from contractors for the specified scope of work. - Excavate and Transport alum sludge contained within eight geotextile tubes at the Main Plant’s residuals drying area to the Moose Jaw Landfill. - Spread, grade and compact of stockpiled soils at the Residual Drying Area located adjacent and north of the lagoons so as to produce an even base for the spreading and stockpiling sludge. - Excavate and transfer wet alum sludge from lagoon 602A (South Winter) to the Residuals Drying Area at the Main Plant. Excavation will stop at the lagoon’s base elevation of 586.8m. - Excavate and Transport alum sludge from the berms of lagoon 602A to the Moose Jaw Landfill. If required, Excavate and Transport alum sludge intermixed with clay liner to the Moose Jaw Landfill.
