Solicitation SPE7M5-27-Q-0124 is a request for quotations issued by the DLA Weapons Support Active Devices Division for the procurement of 407 units of non-precision wire wound variable resistors, identified by NSN 5905-01-633-1066. The contract is a firm fixed price requirement with a delivery timeline of 394 days after receipt of order. Delivery is set as FOB Origin, with both inspection and acceptance occurring at the destination, specifically the DLA Distribution Depot Hill at Hill AFB, Utah. This procurement is not a small business set-aside and is being issued under Special Emergency Procurement Authority, meaning it may be awarded prior to the solicitation return date. The contractor must adhere to strict technical and quality standards, including MIL-STD-2073-1E for packaging, MIL-STD-129 for general marking, and RP001 for palletization. Special marking requirements under code ZZ mandate compliance with IPC/JEDEC J-STD-609 for identifying lead finish attributes on individual unit packs. Invoicing and payment must be processed electronically through the Wide Area WorkFlow system. The government reserves the right to make multiple awards, with the best value offer receiving at least 60 percent of the total requirement. All quotes must be submitted via DIBBS and remain valid for 90 days.
