AI Contract Overview
The contract covers the supply of hand-operated infant resuscitators designed with a disposable single-shutter valve system, integrated handle, thin-walled compression bag, and medication port. Each resuscitator is specifically sized for infants, color-coded for easy identification, and comes with an infant mask in packages of 12 units. The resuscitators are individually packaged in resealable plastic carrying bags to maintain sterility and ease of handling. Packaging and packing standards require commercial packaging that protects the product from damage during shipping; each unit must be sealed in a suitable container and further packed in commercial exterior shipping containers to ensure safe delivery by common carriers at the lowest rates to the specified delivery location. The contract mandates compliance with Medical Marking Standard No. 1 and incorporates technical and quality requirements from the DLA Master List, ensuring adherence to current procurement standards. Removal of government identification from non-accepted supplies and adherence to DLA packaging requirements are also specified. The purchase request is for one package containing 12 resuscitators, with a delivery schedule set for 84 days after the award date. The solicitation is managed by the Department of Defense’s Medical Supply Chain MD SURG FSF, with contract administration and technical points of contact provided, including a primary contact at DLA. The location of performance is an APO address with relevant federal acquisition requirements under NAICS code 334511.
