Retaining Wall on Van Ness (Notification of Lake or Streambed Alteration, No. EPIMS-CCA-64661-R3)

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife, Region 3, has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS-CCA-64661-R3 with Golden Choice Homes for a project located in San Pablo, California. The scope of work is limited to the reinforcement of an existing retaining wall adjacent to Wildcat Creek to address structural deterioration and protect the neighboring property from slope failure and erosion. The project has been granted a categorical exemption from the California Environmental Quality Act under Title 14, section 15304, as it involves only minor land alterations. To ensure environmental protection, all project activities, including the operation and staging of equipment, must be conducted entirely from existing paved surfaces.
