TACOM Life Cycle Management Command-Rock Island intends to negotiate on sole source basis with Pandjiris for a weld system retrofit package for our existing Weld Overlay Machine under the authority of FAR 6.302-1- Only one responsible source and no other service will satisfy the agency requirement. This notice is neither a request nor an invitation for bid. However, all information received by the close of business on 12/12/05 will be considered by the government. Information received will only b e considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based on responses to this will be entirely at the discretion of the Government. No f ormal solicitation package is available. The Government will not be responsible for any costs in preparation of responses to this announcement.
