Full Description

The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island plans to procure fourteen (14) additional Radar Electronic Units (REUs) under Contract W58RGZ-15-C-0078 via a Firm Fixed Price Contract Modification. The Government plans to procure this requirement sole source from Longbow Limited Liability Company (LBL), 5600 W Sand Lake Road, Orlando, FL 32819-8907, Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code 04WF2 in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. LBL is the designer, developer, manufacturer, and design control activity of the AH-64D/E Fire Control Radar (FCR) system, and is the sole source contractor currently providing the REU to the AH-64E. LBL possesses the technical expertise, data, and experience necessary to execute this requirement.
