The Ministry of Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations in Ghana has issued an award notice for the comprehensive review and amendment of several critical legal instruments. This project focuses on the harmonization of the Electronic Transactions Act of 2008, the Electronic Communications Act of 2008, the National Information Technology Agency Act of 2008, and related national communications legislation. The primary objective is to update the legal frameworks governing the Ministry's agencies to ensure they are current and consistent. To achieve this, the contract mandates a process of inclusive stakeholder engagement and expert legal consultation. The initiative aims to streamline the regulatory environment for digital technology and communications within Ghana, ensuring that all governing acts are aligned and effectively support the Ministry's operational goals.
