AI Contract Overview
The U.S. Navy’s Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division at China Lake, California, is soliciting quotes for a sole-source procurement of specific RF components from RF Lambda, a manufacturer located in Carrollton, Texas, under the solicitation number N6893626Q5156. The procurement includes 26 units of the RLNA07M06GA Ultra Wide Band Low Noise Amplifier, accompanied by 26 corresponding RFHTSKA0003 heatsinks, as well as 20 units of the RFDC4M3G20-SFM and 10 units of the standard RFDC4M3G20. These components are essential for maintaining system integrity due to their precise compliance with military specifications for shock, vibration, and phase-matching performance. The solicitation will be published on SAM.gov on July 6, 2026, with responses due by July 16, 2026, and must be submitted via email to Amy Lamberth at amy.s.lamberth.civ@us.navy.mil, referencing the solicitation number. All prospective vendors must maintain an active registration on SAM.gov prior to submission, as no award can be made without it, and registration processing can take 10–15 days, requiring early action. Additionally, contractors must be certified through the Defense Logistics Information Services (DLIS) to access Controlled Unclassified Information or Export Controlled Information. Access to such data is strictly limited to a single, designated Data Custodian per CAGE code, who must have an approved DD 2345 form on file with the Defense Logistics Agency. Contractors are solely responsible for coordinating with their CAGE code’s authorized Data Custodian to obtain the necessary CUI access before engaging in the procurement process. The NAICS code for this action is 334220, and while the procurement is sole-source to the manufacturer, it remains open to all authorized distributors who meet the regulatory and certification requirements.
