RFB: Bonner Bandshell Roof Replacement

The City of Missoula Parks and Recreation Department is soliciting bids for the removal and replacement of the roof at the Bonner Bandshell located in Bonner Park, Missoula, Montana. The scope of work includes the demolition and proper disposal of existing roofing materials and the installation of a new roofing system with a 2-inch eave flashing, all in accordance with Montana Building Codes. Bidders must provide a base bid for asphalt shake and may offer alternates for 5/8-inch CDX sheeting, composite cedar shake, or a standing seam metal roof. All selected materials must have a minimum lifespan of 50 years. The project must be completed on or before July 1, 2025, with work commencing within 10 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed and a total performance duration of 30 calendar days. Award will be granted to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder who meets mandatory qualifications, including at least five years of roofing experience, a valid Montana Contractor’s Registration, a City of Missoula Business License, and proof of General Liability and Workers’ Compensation insurance. Additionally, contractors must provide three project references and comply with Montana prevailing wage laws if the contract exceeds $25,000. Proposals are due by 3:30 PM on October 30, 2024.
