Government Answers to Questions Asked: 1. Aircraft operations Average passenger load? 100-150. Are there any extra special passengers (VVIP, elected officials, etc.)? Occasional VIPs usually do not exceed 10 pax. Average number bags carried in cargo holds? Usually 5-10. Rarely more than 15 but it does happen. Any special freight? Occasionally, but usually does not exceed 150 lbs. Hazardous Materials? 99.99% no HAZMAT. Any other special dimensions, weight, etc., that only a Boeing 737 can carry? Nothing unusual. Are there any off airport landing sights? These are only operated on runways'no gravel type undeveloped runways. Maximum range between origins and destination (I recognize what is included in RFI. We are considering projected flexibility). Usually does not exceed 300 NM/sortie. Any international destinations Negative. 2. Aircraft insurance requirements? Yes, 3rd party liability and seat insurance. 3. Are there spare parts? Yes there are, but there are specific to NG 737s. There is a modified amount of Boeing spare parts. Any detail would be helpful. Respondents can provide their own spares depending on their approach. 4. Would the awarded operator require investment into spares? Also depends on their approach. If operating GFE aircraft, the Govt would provide parts. 5. Are there any potential limitations for the aircraft to participate in manufacturer support and assurance programs? The aircraft are not ETOPs and are operated as Public Aircraft. They have been maintained up to 14 CFR 121 standards, but without FAA specific oversight. Co-mingling spares may be an issue.
