This RFI is the same as the RFI_BAMS_Service also posted 31 March 2015. The Battlefield Airmen Office is looking for a cradle to grave supply chain solution from operators ordering products through an online system all the way to delivery. The primary difference between each RFI is the NAICS and how the objectives in para. 3 are framed based on the corresponding code because the acquisition team has not made a decision as to what code is more appropriate. Right now, and for the last 5 years, we have had a contract that is responsible for the online ordering and another contract responsible for the physical items and deliveries. For the new effort the government intends to combine the two contracts into one. As part of our market research, we are putting the requirement out under two codes to see which code would yield the greatest competition and asking for vendors to give suggestions for NAICS that were not used if they feel they are more appropriate. Vendors need to only reply to one RFI or the other.
