RFI- Germfree Service Contract for Global Field Medical Laboratories (GFML)

This request for information (RFI) titled RFI- Germfree Service Contract for Global Field Medical Laboratories (GFML), issued under solicitation number W91CRB-26-RFI-GFML, is strictly an information-gathering tool for planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation, offer, or obligation by the Department of Defense, Capability Program Executive-Ground, or Soldier Medical Devices. The RFI seeks industry input on the capabilities to sustain, calibrate, maintain, repair, and manage lifecycle services for critical field medical laboratory equipment including six fume hoods, twelve biosafety cabinets, and twelve filtration systems across two government facilities: Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, and Tobyhanna Army Depot, Pennsylvania. The anticipated contract, if initiated, would have a base period of one year with four optional years, requiring services to be performed by accredited certifiers compliant with NSF/CETA or NSF/ANSI standards. All technical support, parts delivery, and equipment servicing must be coordinated with the Contracting Officer’s Representative, including adherence to site access protocols requiring 72-hour advance notice, escort requirements for unclearanced personnel, and compliance with local security procedures and facility rules. Submission must include completed Attachments 1 and 2 with company identifiers such as UEI, CAGE code, SAM registration status, and socio-economic certifications, and must be electronically submitted by June 15, 2026, in Arial 12-point font, single-spaced, as a Word or PDF document. Contractors must affirm compliance with DFARS 252.242-7006 regarding cost accounting systems and provide all required representations. Delivered reports including technician findings, cost breakdowns for out-of-scope items, and certification documentation must be submitted within 15 calendar days of maintenance completion, with all information handled under strict confidentiality requirements. The RFI is not a competitive procurement and no pricing, CLINs, or contract values are solicited or disclosed at this stage.
