The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality, Division of Mitigation Services, has issued Request for Information 16-2459085843 to gather input from vendors for the development of Local Watershed Plan updates within the Tar-Pamlico 03020103 Service Area. The agency is seeking innovative, data-driven methods to evaluate current watershed conditions and identify functional uplift opportunities, specifically focusing on the Tar-Pamlico River Basin, the 03020103 HUC8, and the Green Mill Run and Cow Swamp planning areas. The scope involves conducting multi-scale functional assessments of existing assets and degraded aquatic resources to prioritize restoration and conservation opportunities and identify suitable areas for compensatory mitigation projects.
