Washington Dulles International Airport 1 Saarinen Cir Dulles, VA 20166 https://www.mwaa.com/business/dulles-pass-id-office#onboarding Background: The Centers for Disease Control and Preventions (CDC) is a public health organization which operates within the Department of Health and Human Services. CDC's Mission Statement is as follows: CDC works 24/7(http://www.cdc.gov/24-7/index.html) to protect America from health, safety and security threats, both foreign and in the U.S. Whether diseases start at home or abroad, are chronic or acute, curable or preventable, human error or deliberate attack, CDC fights disease and supports communities and citizens to do the same. CDC increases the health security of our nation. As the nation's health protection agency, CDC saves lives and protects people from health threats. To accomplish our mission, CDC conducts critical science and provides health information that protects our nation against expensive and dangerous health threats, and responds when these arise. CDC's Division of Global Migration and Quarantine (DGMQ) works to reduce morbidity and mortality among immigrants, refugees, travelers, expatriates, and other globally mobile populations, and to prevent the introduction, transmission, and spread of communicable diseases from foreign countries into the United States. To carry out this work, DGMQ oversees quarantine stations across the United States and Puerto Rico. During a large scale response, current levels of staffing at some or all of these quarantine stations may need augmentation to assist with passenger screening, triaging, consulting with state health departments, following up with travelers and other similar services. DGMQ may require contractor support to provide non-personal support services during such times of response.
