Purpose of Request for Proposal (RFP) : As an open-enrollment charter school network serving multiple Texas regions, we face an urgent need to recruit, certify, and retain effective teachers, particularly in hard-to-fill areas such as Special Education, English as a Second Language ( ESL ) , and Bilingual e ducation. IDEA Public Schools ( ‘’ IDEA ’’ ) is issuing a Request for Proposal ( “ RFP ” ) to identify and select a qualified Educator Preparation Program (EPP) vendor (s) that aligns with our vision of preparing students for success in college and beyond and is capable of supporting district goals for high-quality teacher preparation, certification, and residency pathways.
