The SJCPHS Disease Control and Prevention (DCP) is soliciting responses to this Request for Proposals (RFP) for the delivery of effective, culturally appropriate prevention, screening, and/ or treatment among the jurisdiction’s most vulnerable and underserved residents living with, or at risk for, sexually transmitted diseases (STD). For the purpose of this RFP, STD includes chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, HIV, mpox, and viral hepatitis. Congenital syphilis prevention through timely testing, treatment, and support services is also included. This RFP seeks to address these disparities by contracting with an appropriate non-profit Community- Based Organization (CBO) to achieve the following. 1) Increase the proportion of clients at risk for STD who receive: STD screening and confirmatory testing (where relevant) Linkages to care Adequate treatment according to CDC guidelines Linkage to preventative services for those at ongoing risk Evaluation and treatment of sexual partners, including through expedited partner therapy (EPT)
