The purpose of this document is to obtain qualification submissions from proponents interested in supplying granular material to the District of Sicamous (District): • An order of approximately 13,000 m3 of Coarse Filter Media as presented in Figure A1• An order of approximately 5,000 m3 of Fine Filter Media as presented in Figure A1; • Granular material must meet Master Municipal Construction Document specifications as outlined in Section 31 05 17 – Aggregates and Granular Materials • 1/3 of the volume of the Coarse Filter Media and of the Fine Filter Media would be required by March 20, 2026 and the remainder must be made available by April 1, 2026; • Material must be stored at the Successful Proponent’s site until it is transported off that site prior to June 30, 2026 by the District or their hired contractor; • Access to the stockpile on the Proponent’s site must be made available with reasonable notice and during regular working hours. • The Proponent being able to accept the granular material that will be excavated from two existing rapid infiltration basins is also desirable. That volume may be up to 12,000 m3 of sandy material. Lab test results of the material are provided in Attachment A. The Successful Proponent shall then own that material with its future use being at the Successful Proponent’s discretion.
