Sealed proposals will be received by the Assistant City Manager/Public Works Director of the City of Belton at the City of Belton Public Works Facility located at 700 Seabee Road, Belton, Missouri, 64012 at the Administrative Building (Building A) until 10:00 a.m., local time, on August 27, 2026, at which bidding will be closed. All bids will be opened and read aloud. A late Proposal Packet is one received after 10:00 a.m., local time, at the time and place of the opening as stated. The decision as to the correct time for the openings shall be made by the Assistant City Manager/Public Works Director of the City of Belton and that decision shall be final. Proposals received after the deadline date and time will be returned unopened. It shall be the responsibility of those submitting a proposal to assure themselves that their proposal has been received by the City of Belton.

Project Description

The City of Belton is seeking bids for the purchase, delivery, installation, startup, testing, and commissioning of an emergency standby generator for the Public Works Facility. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, electrical connections, fuel systems, startup services, and associated appurtenances necessary to provide complete operational systems.

All equipment, materials, labor, and workmanship must be in accordance with the specifications and other contract documents.
