BC Transit is deploying battery electric buses and associated charging infrastructure across its transit systems. This work introduces new digital systems, data sources, and integration requirements that must function reliably with BC Transit’s existing enterprise platforms, including JDE, Hastus, Trapeze, Bus Availability System, and BC Transit’s enterprise data environment.BC Transit is seeking a contractor to design, implement, support, and help stabilize the data and integration capabilities required for electrified transit operations. Proponents are expected to propose a practical, scalable, and supportable approach that aligns with BC Transit’s enterprise architecture standards, governance requirements, information security expectations, and operational needs.
