Solicitation # 80JSC027R0004
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration Johnson Space Center is soliciting proposals under solicitation 80JSC027R0004 for the Commercial Low Earth Orbit Destination Contract. This effort seeks a Multi-Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract, utilizing a Firm-Fixed-Price structure, for the design, development, manufacture, launch, and operation of a Commercial LEO Destination System to succeed the International Space Station. The system comprises three primary components: the Crew Transportation System, the Commercial LEO Destination, and the Cargo Transportation System. Performance is measured across three capability categories ranging from one-month crew tended missions to six-month standard service missions. The contract includes a base ordering period from April 2027 through April 2035, with two subsequent option periods extending the potential performance through April 2042. Proposals are due by December 8, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. Central Time, with Volume III regarding past performance requested early on November 24, 2026. Key contractual obligations include the submission of an Organizational Conflicts of Interest plan, adherence to the Outer Space Treaty, and the procurement of specific property damage insurance for certain launch vehicle categories.
