RFP for Backup Storage Expansion and Controller Refresh

The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) operates a Unified Data Backup Platform (UDBP), supported by NetApp enterprise NAS storage, to safeguard the Bank's critical digital assets and ensure reliable data backup and recovery capabilities. With the continuous growth of backup data, the existing NAS storage infrastructure in Beijing is approaching its capacity limits, requiring additional storage capacity to accommodate projected business needs. Meanwhile, the existing NetApp FAS8200 storage controllers, deployed in 2020, are approaching their end of service life and require replacement to maintain system reliability, performance, and vendor support. To address these requirements, AIIB intends to expand its existing NAS storage capacity and refresh the storage controllers with newer NetApp models. The procurement will include the necessary hardware, installation, configuration, migration, and three-year maintenance and support services to ensure a smooth transition, continued operational stability, and long-term resilience of the Bank's backup infrastructure.
