The Municipality of the District of Guysborough, on behalf of the Harbourview Volunteer Fire Department (who have the final decision) invites bids for the purchase of a New NFPA 1900 and ULC S515:2024 Compliant 1250 imperial gallon per minute pumper/tanker, tandem axle. Proposal Documents shall be requested from the undersigned via fax or email. Sealed proposals plainly marked "Pumper/Tanker - Harbourview" will be received at the office of the Municipality of the District of Guysborough, 33 Pleasant Street, Guysborough. until 2:00 P.M., Friday, July 3, 2026. Opening immediately after close. Proposals which are considered to be informal, unbalanced or not in accordance with any aspect of the Proposal Document may be rejected. The Harbourview Volunteer Fire Department reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, not necessarily accept the lowest proposal or to accept any which it may consider to be in the best interest of the department. The department also reserves the right to waive formality, informality or technicality in any proposal.
