RFP-HOME-270000000111-2 | Athletic Field Concessions Stand Renovation

The Homer Community School District is soliciting bids for the renovation of the athletic field concessions stand in Homer, Michigan. The project scope includes bathroom upgrades, the creation of a new ticket area, and general facility improvements. Work is divided into seven categories: Concrete, Masonry, General Trades, Painting and Sealed Concrete, Plumbing Systems, HVAC Systems, and Electrical Systems. Specific technical requirements include the installation of split face block at CMU piers, powder-coated steel toilet partitions, and various Bobrick bathroom accessories. Additionally, the project includes two alternates: the replacement of asphalt paving with four-inch concrete pavement and the replacement of asphalt shingles on a nearby maintenance garage. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes by 2:00pm on November 3, 2026. To be considered, proposals must include a revised bid form, a signed scope outline, a notarized familial disclosure statement, and an Iran Economic Sanctions Act Affidavit of Compliance. A bid security deposit of at least five percent of the maximum bid price is required via certified check or bid bond. For contracts exceeding 20,000 dollars, the successful bidder may be required to provide a Co-Obligee Labor and Material Payment and Performance Bond. Construction is intended to begin and continue throughout the winter months of 2026 and 2027. This is a privately funded project and is not subject to prevailing wage requirements.
