RFP-HSS-260000002567-2 | HASS IP Based Valcom PA/Intercom System

The Hastings Area School System is soliciting proposals for the installation and implementation of a Valcom IP Intercom System at the Hastings High School Campus in Michigan. This project involves replacing the legacy Bogen Multicom 2000 system, which includes the removal and disposal of all existing PA components, cabling, and accessible conduit. The scope of work requires a comprehensive campus assessment for hardware placement, the procurement and installation of specified Valcom hardware and software, and the integration of the new system with existing VOIP phones, SIP, multicast, and fire alarm systems. Key deliverables include a fully operational system, a complete mapping of all IP components, and the labeling of all patch panels and jacks according to the existing identification scheme. Qualified vendors must be Valcom Engineered authorized installers or provide adequate Valcom remote technical service support. All installed hardware and cabling in ceiling spaces must be plenum rated and code compliant. The selected contractor will be responsible for providing training for administrative, maintenance, technology, and security staff, as well as offering ongoing technical support post-implementation.
