Ionia Public Schools is soliciting sealed bids for the Secure Entry Projects located in Michigan. Interested bidders must submit their proposals in triplicate by 2:00 PM local time on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. Submissions must be delivered to the O-A-K Operations Center in Caledonia, Michigan, and bids sent via email, fax, or uploaded through Building Connected will not be accepted. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security or bond of at least 5 percent of the bid amount, provided via certified check or a surety company with a rating of A- or better. Additionally, bidders are required to provide a sworn and notarized Familial Disclosure Statement in accordance with Section 1267 of the Revised School Code. To be eligible, bidders must be reputable organizations with at least five years of successful experience in work of this type and scope, possess the necessary licenses required by public authorities, and demonstrate ample financial resources for a project of this magnitude. The project requires compliance with all applicable prevailing wage rates. For contracts exceeding 50,000 dollars, performance, labor, and material bonds are required.
