RFP No. 27-061: Operation of Summer Camp

The City of Springfield, through its Department of Parks, Buildings, and Recreation Management, is soliciting proposals under RFP No. 27-061 (Solicitation BD-27-1167-PUR02-PUR01-134539) for a qualified for-profit or non-profit Child Recreation Services Provider. The selected provider will be responsible for the operation, management, and maintenance of a six-week summer day camp serving approximately 100 children per week between the ages of 7 and 14. While the primary location of performance is Camp Wilder on Parker Street in Springfield, Massachusetts, the City may designate additional sites including Central High School, Forest Park, Hubbard Park, Greenleaf Park, Van Horn Park, and Nathan Bill Park. This procurement is conducted in accordance with M.G.L. c. 30B s 6 and includes a 20% Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) participation goal. The contract features an initial term of one year with two optional one-year renewals at the City's discretion.
