The U.S. Embassy Amman is soliciting quotations for the delivery and installation of metal storage shelving, cantilevers, and storage cages at an offsite warehouse facility. This firm-fixed-price project, payable in Jordanian Dinars, covers both the ground and second floors and includes specific requirements for ten security storage cages ranging from 8 to 72 square meters. Contractors are responsible for proposing design specifications, load capacities, and seismic engineering based on the provided scope of work and technical drawings, which detail shelf depths and structural elevations. All installations must adhere to strict safety and health standards, including USACE EM 385-1-1 and comprehensive personal protective equipment requirements. To be eligible for award, companies must be registered in the System for Award Management and complete the NDAA Section 889 Part B representation regarding prohibited telecommunications equipment. Quotations must include a completed SF-1449 form, a pricing schedule, and necessary representations and certifications. The government intends to award the contract to the responsible company offering the lowest price for an acceptable proposal. While initial deadlines were set for early February 2023, subsequent amendments extended the quotation due date to February 14, 2023, and provided updated pricing tables and safety guides.
