The solicitation RFQ 5355 for Inventory Parts is issued by the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority (SORTA) through the Ohio Inventory department, with all submissions required to be made exclusively via the e-Procurement Portal at procurement.opengov.com or secure.procurenow.com. Bids submitted through any other method, including email or physical delivery, will be deemed non-responsive. Suppliers must use the official pricing table within the portal to provide quotes for 23 specific transit vehicle components, including filters, gaskets, springs, bulbs, fuses, and door parts, with quantities specified per line item. All pricing must be all-inclusive, clearly incorporating freight costs, and must include lead time in days for fulfillment of the entire requested quantity, entered in the NOTES column; “stock” claims are insufficient without a defined lead time. Non-OEM parts must be annotated with the RM####### format. Core fees, if applicable, must also be noted in the NOTES field, and suppliers unable to provide a part must select “no bid.” The evaluation is based on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) approach, where responsiveness and responsibility are assessed through compliance with federal requirements including 49 U.S.C. Section 5325(j), adherence to Disadvantaged Business Enterprise rules, financial stability, past performance, technical capability, and absence of debarment or suspension. The place of performance is Cincinnati, Ohio, and while detailed packaging, marking, or inspection standards are not specified, acceptance is solely at the discretion of SORTA, based on conformity to bid specifications and regulatory compliance. The submission deadline is April 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. EST, and the primary point of contact for inquiries is David Drummonds, Supply Chain Coordinator, reachable at [email hidden] or [phone hidden]. No contract value is stated as pricing data is expected to be entered by bidders during submission, and no formal clauses, certifications, or delivery schedules beyond the bidding process are provided within the solicitation.

RFQ Bid Form Instructions BIDS NOT SUBMITTED THROUGH E-PROCUREMENT PORTAL WILL BE CONSIDERED NON-RESPONSIVE PLEASE CONTACT THE BUYER DIRECTLY WITH ANY QUESTIONS OR PROBLEMS WITH A BID • All suppliers shall utilize the pricing table within the E-procurement portal. Bids received in other formats may be considered non-responsive. • Items of Importance: All quotes must have the freight included in the price. Lead time: L/T must be noted in the NOTES column in the bid table. This is the lead-time required to fulfill the entire delivered qty on the RFQ. Lead-time should be in days only and reflect the number of days required to fulfill the entire delivered qty on the RFQ. "Stock" quotes are subjective and will still require a L/T in days for us to fairly evaluate bids. If the part is not OEM or the specific part # requested, please put the following format in the lead time notes with the specific part # you are quoting. (RM#######) Enter any Core fee in the NOTES field located in the pricing table If you do not carry a part, please select "no bid."
