1.1 GENERALINFORMATION: The Texas StateUniversity System (TSUS or Owner) on behalf of itself and its MemberInstitution is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (“Qualifications”) for theselection of a firm(s) to provide Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity(“IDIQ”) Geotechnical, Construction Material Testing, andEnvironmental Assessment servicesfor planning, design, renovation and construction of facilities for TSUS and its Member Institutions, throughout Texas (TSUS; Institution, or Institutions),on an hourly fee or lump sum basis as needed by TSUS or its Institutions. Respondentsshall provide geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, andenvironmental assessment services for the projects designated by TSUS orits Institutions through written TaskOrder and shall perform its services by providing all necessary supervision, labor,materials, equipment, and supplies. The services performed will be at the directionof and on an as needed basis for TSUS or its Institutions. Anticipatedservices include those summarized under Paragraph 2.1. Other related, but not specificallynamed services, may be requested which are beneficial to TSUS or itsInstitutions in the delivery of or maintenance of facilities. The firm willrender these services to TSUS or its Institutions as needed, with no minimum ormaximum amount of services specified. In particular, the firm must be preparedto assign at least one person with significant related experience to beavailable as the point of contact for all oversight efforts at TSUS or itsInstitutions. An agreement with the selected firm(s) will be issued as anindefinite quantity contract with a 3-year initial term and an option forthe Owner to extend the agreement for two (2) additional 1-year terms. Thetotal value of the agreement will not exceed Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000)for the total term of the agreement, including all extensions. However, the Owner reserves the right toincrease this limit. This solicitationsets forth the terms, conditions, and requirements forprospective Geotechnical, Construction Material Testing, and EnvironmentalAssessment firms to be considered for this work.
