Defence Construction Canada – Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for the North Park Armoury Rehabilitation Phase 2, DCC Project Number IE090919, CFB Halifax, Nova Scotia
In accordance with the rules, regulations, statutes, guidelines and the professional associations of the provinces where the project will be carried out, Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is calling for Technical Submissions from Contractors to provide the heritage rehabilitation of the north, south and east elevations of the North Park Armoury, as well as hazardous materials abatement, structural upgrades, roofing and services upgrades, and complete interior renovation and fit up.
The North Park Armoury is federally designated as a Classified Heritage Building by the Federal Heritage Building Review Office (FHBRO), designated as a National Historic Site by Parks Canada and listed in the Halifax Municipal Registry of Heritage Properties.
Information provided by the Tenderers will be evaluated using the established criteria in the RFQ. The purpose of this RFQ process (identified as Step 1) is for DCC to identify qualified Contractors that will subsequently be invited to submit a Tender (identified as Step 2) for the Work
The Security Requirements for this project are identified in the RFQ Documents.
The construction cost limit for this project is $98,000,000.
Firms that consider themselves qualified to provide these services are invited to submit their Technical Submissions through the MERX Electronic Bidding System on or before the closing date and time indicated on the Electronic Bidding System.
